About the Pencil workshop

Welcome to the Pencil Workshop, where engineering and cartooning are joined together with the self-tapping screws of imagination.

If you enjoy cartoons and being creative with paper, you may find this website interesting. If you're looking for an illustrator, or have a project that you think I might be interested in, do get in touch - I'm always open to a new challenge.

Toby the Spaniel - Toby was a founding member of the Pencil Workshop, working as a source of inspiration, under-desk foot warmer, head of security, and general dogs-body. This page features dog-related cartoons and the Toby the Spaniel Calendar, which is free* to download and print. (*OK, you'll have to provide your own paper and ink!)

Print & Build - Discover printable plans and instructions for a range of paper models and curiosities, including the infamous Windy ducks. All you need is a printer (capable of handling light card), some basic craft tools and a desire to have fun making things.
